Born and raised in Northern California, Desiree Lynch has spent nearly her entire life in San Joaquin County.

Desiree was raised by a single mother who worked two jobs to provide for her family, instilling in her the values of perseverance and determination. Proud of her Mexican-American heritage, Desiree remains deeply connected to the Latino culture that has helped shape and strengthen our region.
Today, Desiree is a mother and a full-time nurse at a local hospital, where she provides compassionate care to her patients every day. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served on the front lines in Stockton, supporting her community during one of its most challenging times. Before beginning her decade-long nursing career, Desiree worked in logistics as a truck driver, playing a vital role in keeping our economy moving.
